Authorities in Warren County have confirmed that a 16-year-old suspect is now in custody following a shooting incident that left one person injured early Tuesday morning.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to reports of an altercation near Underwood Road on May 26, 2026. When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that one individual had already been transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials also confirmed that the suspected shooter had fled before deputies reached the area.
Investigators immediately launched a search for the teenage suspect. After several hours of investigation and efforts by law enforcement, authorities located the 16-year-old Tuesday night and took the individual into custody without further incident.
