Following news of her passing, tributes and condolences have continued pouring in from across Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and surrounding communities. Family members have announced that the Janazah prayer for Hanaa Bahraq will take place following Jumu’ah prayer at the Islamic Center of New Mexico, located at 1100 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Jumu’ah prayer is scheduled to begin at 1:15 PM, with the Janazah prayer immediately afterward.
Loved ones have requested continued prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time while also asking the community to respect the family’s privacy as they navigate their painful loss. Community members are encouraged to keep Hanaa and her family in their du’as and prayers.
Following the burial service, family, friends, and members of the community will gather at the Islamic Center of New Mexico to honor Hanaa’s memory and celebrate her life. Lunch will also be served as loved ones come together in remembrance and support of one another.
As tributes continue to spread online and throughout the community, prayers are being offered for Allah ﷻ to shower Hanaa Bahraq with mercy, forgive her shortcomings, illuminate and widen her grave, and grant her the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.
